The application just crashed after launch!

A few people reported that they could not run PerlPad at all: When invoked as a Service, it freezes the application, when launched as an application, it crashes immediately. Unfortunately, none of those people provided a more detailed error report, so I do not know what was the problem here. If you cannot make PerlPad work, please send an email to the mailing list.
If PerlPad crashes upon launch, you should find error messages in the system log. You can see this log with the Console application. Please check the messages here. They might help you solve the problem. If not, please make a bug report to the mailing list and include these messages. You might want to check the mailing list archives first to see if someone else had a similiar problem (and how it was solved).
If you have a customized Perl installation, please include this information in your report.
